Sensei Jeffrey Weber serves as the Regional Director and Treasurer for the South Atlantic Region of the International Shotokan Karate Federation (ISKF) and is a Chief Instructor at Palmetto Karate, located in South Carolina. Beginning his martial arts journey in 1986 and earning his Shodan in 1989, Sensei Weber has dedicated four decades to the practice, leadership, and technical advancement of traditional Shotokan Karate.
As Regional Director, Sensei Weber is committed to supporting dojos throughout the South Atlantic region, promoting high technical standards, and strengthening the ISKF community.  He credits Sensei's Vaughan and Oberschlake for helping him become the karateka he is today.  He is also very appreciative for the many opportunities he had to train and develop under the late Master's Teruyuki Okazaki and Yutaka Yaguchi.  

A graduate of the prestigious ISKF Instructor Training Program, Sensei Weber holds the following technical credentials, which include certified Level A Instructor, Level B Examiner, and Level A Tournament Judge. He actively continues his education through national training camps led by senior ISKF instructors. 
Prior to relocating to the South Atlantic Region in 2025, Sensei Weber played a vital role in leading the Mid-America ISKF Region. In 2002, he co-founded Shotokan Karate of Anderson, building a thriving dojo community that continues to operate today. During his tenure in Mid-America, he served on the Regional Technical Committee and held the position of Regional Treasurer. He is also very proud of the three very successful ISKF US/National Karate Tournaments that he coordinated while in the Mid-America region.  His commitment to leadership extends beyond the dojo, with more than 30 years of public service within the Cincinnati area, as a Fire Lieutenant and Paramedic with the Anderson Township Fire Department, along with 24 years of service as a Special Deputy with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
Throughout his career, Sensei Weber has represented the US on the international stage. At the 2016 ISKF Shotocup World Tournament in Cape Town, South Africa, he earned 1st Place in Over-45 Team Kata, 2nd Place in Over-45 Team Kumite, and 3rd Place in Individual Over-45 Kata. He also earned a Silver Medal in Over-45 Team Kata at the 2014 ISKF Pan-American Tournament as a member of the ISKF/US Team. Having retired from competition, he continues to attend National and International tournaments to referee and judge.  Through his regional leadership and deep experience, Sensei Weber remains dedicated to supporting the growth of instructors, students, and member dojos across the South Atlantic Region.

Sensei Kimberly Weber serves as the Chief Instructor and Secretary of the South Atlantic Region of the ISKF, where she provides technical leadership, instructor development, and administrative oversight for dojo throughout the region. Sensei Weber is a graduate of the ISKF Instructor Training Program, and has earned ISKF instructional and officiating certifications as a Level A Instructor, Level B Examiner, and Level A Tournament Judge.She began her Shotokan karate training as part of the Mid-America ISKF Region in 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio, and quickly developed a lifelong passion for traditional karate. In 1988, she earned her shodan (1st Degree Black Belt) under the legendary Master Yutaka Yaguchi. Over the past four decades, she has continued to refine her skills through dedicated regional training with her instructors, Sensei James Oberschlake and Sensei Martin Vaughan, as well as regular participation in national and international training camps. These experiences have provided her the opportunity to train under some of Shotokan Karate’s most notable instructors, including Master Teruyuki Okazaki, Master Yutaka Yaguchi and Sensei Yoshiharu Osaka.During her 40 years in the Mid-America ISKF Region, Sensei Weber was appointed to the Regional Technical Committee and served for eight years as their Regional Secretary. In 2002, she founded Shotokan Karate of Anderson, where she and her husband built a thriving dojo community, mentoring hundreds of students while establishing a school that continues to operate successfully today.In addition to her leadership and teaching, Sensei Weber enjoyed nearly three decades of tournament competition at the regional, national, and international levels before retiring from competition after an accomplished competitive career in 2016. Among her most notable competitive accomplishments was the 2nd World Shoto Cup in Cebu, Philippines, in 2012, where she earned the title of World Champion in Senior Women's Kumite, won the silver medal in Senior Women's Kata, and received two additional gold medals as a member of Team USA in both Kata and Kumite. She remains an active official, regularly serving as a judge at national and international ISKF events.Today, as Chief Instructor of the South Atlantic ISKF Region, Sensei Weber is committed to preserving the technical excellence and traditions of Shotokan that she has learned, while supporting instructors, mentoring students, and strengthening the regional karate community. She also serves as Chief Instructor of Palmetto Karate, where she, along with her husband, continues to teach students of all ages and experience levels.Beyond the dojo, Sensei Weber is an ASFA-Certified Self-Defense Instructor with more than 20 years of experience teaching personal safety and self-defense programs throughout Ohio and now in the Lowcountry of South Carolina.Through her leadership, technical expertise, and dedication to developing future generations of karate practitioners, Sensei Weber continues to uphold the values and traditions of the ISKF while fostering excellence throughout the South Atlantic Region.dit me.
